SportZu.tv
A collaboration of IM&I and SportsHD, SportZu.tv is a video and social community targeted at youth sports athletes, coaches, and parents. Utilizing relationships with content partners including Colorado Rapids, Colorado Mammoth, Dick's Sporting Goods Park, Altitude Sports and Entertainment, and the Gold Crown Foundation, SportZu.tv combines the social and video dynamics of professionally produced video and top regional athletes with youth sports and user-generated content. Currently in beta testing, SportZu.tv will launch in winter 2007.
Denver Theatre District
The Denver Theatre District (DTD) is one of the most exciting new destinations ever created in Denver and home to new cultural events, public art, and corporate partnerships. The DTD is a new neighborhood from 14th street to 16th street and Arapahoe to Champa in the middle of downtown Denver for tourists and locals alike. A warm, well lit neighborhood encompassing private investments such as The Curtis Hotel, The Spire, and others, as well as public investment including The Ellie Caulkins Opera House, the Colorado Convention Center, and others, to recreate the energy and excitement of Curtis Street of 1930—described by Thomas Edison as "The Brightest Street in America."
In conjunction with the City and County of Denver and the Downtown Denver Partnership, IM&I is responsible for creating and managing the program. This includes the creation of marketing and promotional media, leading the effort to expand support for the DTD in the public and private sectors, working with the city on governance and zoning issues, developing corporate sponsorships, and energizing the district with new galleries, events, and signage.
Formed in 2007, the DTD is an entirely self-funded non-profit entity founded to promote the Theatre District as the cultural destination for the city. No new taxes or additional hires will be required by the Downtown Denver Partnership or the City of Denver.
